Dr. Jerry P. Richards
Jerry has been counselling within communities for more than twenty- four years. This experience includes thirteen years of clinical experience. He is the founder and director of Summit Counselling Saskatoon which was started in October of 2011. His personal mission and purpose are to bring quality counselling and therapy to the city of Saskatoon in both secular and Christian counselling arenas.
Jerry is the father of 5 daughters, and he and his wife Shirley are grandparents to thirteen grandchildren ranging in age from newborn to eighteen years.
Jerry served for 16 years with the British Army in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME), and 18 years with the Evangelical Church in Canada prior to moving to Saskatoon. As a bi-vocational minister, Dr. Richards also worked for seven years in the non-profit sector caring for people with a variety of disabilities.
He is currently a licensed minister with the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Canada.
